1970

Operation Dubois Square begins for the U.S. Marines, a ten hunt for the N Vietnamese close to DaNang. Marine pilots in their Douglas A-4 Skyhawks gave essential close air support to ground troops.

1972

USAF Captain Charles DeBellevue flying with his pilot, Captain John Madden, in a McDonnell Douglas F-4D, shoots down two MiG-19s close to Hanoi. These were DeBellevue’s 5th and 6th triumphs, all of the victories came within a four month time frame.
